Granted I am new to this group and not really bi-polar. I suffer from borderline personality disorder which is very similar. I have been reading the post on here and some of the people seem to have nothing but negative things to say when someone post. I thought we were here to support one another. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone. I disagree all the time.
But some people just go into outright attack mode. So to those people I ask...
So why the hate?
Aren't we all adults here? Don't we all have enough self control to think about our response long enough and carefully enough to word them in such away as not to cause pain to others?

The thing is Pogo that most people find it difficult to take criticism from another who does not know anything about the disorder. It is one thing to "see" it in others but an entirely different thing to "experience" it or "live" it.
Yes, we are here to support one another, but we understand that it wont always be with mushy agreement or calm responses. It is the nature of this disorder.
