VIIBRYD! it just hit the shelves the last of june....alot of good comments about it,,,alot said they have been on everything under the sun but the viibryd gave them their life back...and yes ive seen bipolars post it too...everybody knows how diff people react to diff meds but u never know...hey what u got to loose right?? ask ur dr... mine had me research it and to let him know tomarro if i wanna try it...i think im going to!

i cant find anything regarding bipolar and this med...it all related to severe depression,,?

It looks like a new drug for depression. Thanks for the tip. But, I'm sure it would cause me to have a manic episode. Always good to hear about new meds though. I'm sure a lot of Bipolar 2s can benefit from this.

hi, it's an anti-depressant like any other. It has the same warnings about triggering mania as any other anti-depressent. So while Bipolar people may end up taking it if they have depression it's not a mood stabilizer or antipsychotic.

Unfortunately I can't do anti depressants at all..... the ones we have tried have all caused either ultradian cycling and mania..... Wish they would come out with a new mood stabilizer.....

I always look forward in taking new antidepressants. I get so sick of feeling totally depressed and an episode of hypomania is a great change for me.

Maybe not wise but fun.

i know some of u may not be able to take ad's....but the ones who can with a mood stab... shuld ck into it...its worth a shot :)

I would never take a new drug ill wait for their to be some.civillian testing =).get me? And it's just and anti depression

Although this is good news...a new med is always needed by someone.
I prefer to wait at least 2 or 3 years for a med to be on the open market, before I try it.

Also , I do not tolerate anti-D's either...but hope this med makes a difference in someone's life !

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

    Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
