Right now I'm obsessed with this dress I made for sims. I Can't wait for people to comment on it but it's taking forever. This is on the sims website ofcourse.

But yes I go through phases of what I'm obsessed with. A few days ago it was teavana tea.

I make up my own rhythms (play guitar) and they get stuck big time

This is weird but I am obsessed with buying toilet paper...I can not go into a store and not buy it...maybe I'm afraid I'll run out(not likely with like 30 rolls in the house). I just can't not do it.

Yeah. The worst is obsessed with a person.. man I've got the line "falling from cloud nine" running thru my head and I found this guy I used to adore, on YouTube.. its had like forty hits since I found him last week.. I can't stop watching it.. I'm obsessed.. I know it.. but he's just so cool and the memories of him flooding my head are divine.. no sex ever just friends.

But hey I signed up to raise money for the leukemia and lymphoma society and running a 5k in the fall. So take the good with the bad.. when you are tuned in find something good to do with that obsessive focus if you can.

I obsess with reaccuring lines done on the TV or in movies.

Like, " WITH ALL DUE RESPECT!"

Or crappy snappy one liners.

I obsess---on words, people's names, songs, musical groups--where I have to learn their library, band's history & all about each member, learning about some sort of minutia in science or medicine (convinced that I will save someone with that knowledge) and games---stupid games like Free Cell---I have completed games 1-1000 in order.

It is scary when I obsess on a person. I have only done this a few times. I hope I NEVER do it again.

I don't often obsess with certain topics. I remember when I was hypo once I went through a weird thing where I couldn't stop rhyming/rapping. I get more obsessive thoughts though. A memory may get stuck and it will play like a movie on repeat and sometimes it's not such a great movie.

I've been dx'd with obsessive compulsive disorder. My father has it real bad too along with BP. I obsess mostly about music, sometimes people. Musicians especially. When I was a teen I went for about 6 months doing nothing but listening to Green Day "Dookie" while I played Minesweeper.

Obsessions have helped me learn to play musical instruments seemingly overnight. The problem is after several months, I get bored with it and along comes a different obsession.

I'm glad this post isn't about compulsions... my obsessions aren't nearly as embarrassing as my compulsions!

I cannot see or hear the word 'entropy' without feeling depressed. It has nothing to do with the definition of it.

Oh, Lord. I got hooked on music big time, for a couple of years straight!!

And sometimes got stuck on a specific song and play it to the exclusion of all other music.

I listened to Insane Clown Posse's 'Bitches' for about 6 weeks straight.

Movies are not exempt, either!!!!

I watched 'Party Monster'' every night, for months on end.

The worst part of my obsessions is that I feel compelled to force them on others, LOLOL!!!

'You've GOT to see this movie!!!!'

And, for better or for worse, I kind of have a built in 'playback' feature in my head. I can call up whatever I want to see or listen to and watch it in my head.
