I turned on my A/C yesterday afternoon.

Yep, looks like no utility breaks for Spring weather

My house is 78 to 80 degrees. I have to install window units and I'm not ready for that. IF I could open my back windows I would have great air flow, however it is raining in the afternoon and the back windows would get water in them.

I did try the a/c in my van yesterday since it was raining and over 70 degrees out. And once again it didn't work. I get sick if I'm too warm. Wasn't a pleasant drive.

Depending how the rest of the month goes the a/c units will be in by mother's day. that and the pool will be open.

It's snowing here today..sigh.. I wish we needed to air conditioner.. It should be sunny and Springtime here... hummm ..hopefully next week

I wish I had an internal air conditioning unit. Hot flashes suck. Outside though it was cloudy day but warm. But they are talking mixed rain and sleet over the weekend, blah.

Yep AC has been on for about a month :( I am NOT looking forward too the 600.00 electric bill in the summer. F-ing Az

My air conditioner has never really been off. It's the heater that is seldom turned on. Livin la vida loca in southern Alabama.

Couldn't take it anymore and turned on the central air today also. i can handle up to 78 in here but 82 is a touch too much. Being here in Florida it's been dry as a bone and HOT. I think summer came right after Easter weekend! Wish we'd get some of that rain that only made it to the pan handle. :-/

i LOVE the heat and have never owned an air conditioner in my life.

just plunk me somewhere smack-dab on the equator close to the beach and the jungle and i'll be happy as a clam for the rest of my life.

It is only in the 70's here...maybe 81 briefly. Still sweater weather for me.

I love heat. 90 starts to feel about right to me, as long as it cools off at night.


growing up in south Texas & spending summers in Louisiana tempered my blood.

I almost turned ours on yesterday but kept the ceiling fans going and windows open....shades down on the sunny side of house.

BUT this morning I woke up with a headache and throat hurting from the pollen so I shut the windows and cranked up the AC for a few minutes.....thinking this is damn crazy but I'm not dealing with a headache either.....makes me very very crabby!!

So yes I am here in VA with the ac one already......hoping this rain now helps with the pollen and I can open the windows back up :-)

It started raining a bit but now it's just muggy, humid and hot out. I love the refuge of my AC in my bed room. I spend most of my time in my bed room any how since it's also my computer room. And I can be sure not to disturb my neighbor up here.

Snow here in MN and 30 degrees. So sick of winter weather!!!!

beckyp you are not alone....25 here & raining, well at least its not snow....oh wait that was yesterday...I NEED spring!!!!!
