I am not sure how things are in other countries on NYE. In America, first off....if you go out, be prepared to pay alot of money. Also make sure you have a person who is sober to drive. I never went out on NYE, even when younger. Reason? Amature drunks, and cops who like to bust your skulls are out there. I like to stay away from both types of people.
If there is one day and night to stay at home NYE is it! Staying home on NYE..hmm lets see. Crappy TV shows, crappy talent on those crappy TV shows. At least you are not out there spending excessive amounts of money or possibly getting into trouble with other drunks, or cops.
Meh, I am glad I am at home though. I do like watching other countries celebrate NYE. I think New Zealand is always first on the list. Then Austriala, etc... etc.. It's nice to see what things they do.
I suppose I will force myself to stay up to midnight. Meh. Maybe I will watch a movie.

It's 1:40 I just got home a lil bit ago. We had dinner at Stoney River Steakhouse, then met Seth's brother Kyle and his partner Dave for drinks at Il Pallio, which is a nice Restaurant/Bar in the Sienna Hotel in downtown Chapel Hill.
We used a car service because even though I don't drink, I didn't want to drive...and we don't have "skull busting" type of police in this town, so that wasn't a worry.
It was a nice night out, but its nice to be home in my comfy PJ's in my bed!
