I've been in a mildly depressive state for a few weeks...maybe even a month or so. Constant anxiety...so bad that I wonder if there's actually something wrong with my heart b/c my chest hurts so much.

There's so much going on in my head at once, that I can pinpoint any one thing to address it and fix it. I feel like I need to get out of here, but I don't know a single person out here, and I'm completely broke. There's nothing to do, nowhere to go.

What would you suggest?

(Oh, and it's raining, so I can't really go into the great outdoors).

is there a comedy show or movie, that you can try to concentrate on? i realize concentration is hard when depressed or anxious. or how about a bubble bath? something nurturing.

Go to the library and get a book that intrests you. It is usually quite and peaceful. Sometimes they even have movies to sign out for free. Just and idea.

I have some books I'd like to read, but as of now I lack the focus to read them. My ADHD, BP, ODD son is acting up. It's not going to be an easy or relaxing day. Although I did take my xanax...hopefully I'll be able to handle it all.

It may sound crazy, but I do it to get my mind off of things...color, crosswords, doodle, anything child like...especially when it's raining. :)

I have this incredible urge to clean...without any interruption. The bathroom, the kitchen...just clean. I was thinking if I just focused all of myself on that I wouldn't think of everything else....of course I don't really have the energy and/or motivation to even get started.

My poor mother is taking care of my kids' spats b/c I'm not in a good place to deal w/ kids right now.
