I've read others' posts on here in which they say they feel like crying at times but can't because their meds have blunted their emotions. I too have experienced this. But this morning, even before breakfast, something happened that upset me,and it wasn't even really bad at all,it just happened to catch me at the wrong time. I went about my business for a while, even went to the grocery store for a few things. But at some point,I just lost it and laid in bed and sobbed and sobbed, drenching my pillow with tears. Like I said, what made me cry wasn't really bad but I must have been full of some pent-up feelings that had to be released.
My therapist touched on the subject of my Mom,who died when I was 10 years old. I canceled the appointment I had last week,I think because I was fearful that I would totally lose it if we discussed Mom. I can honestly say I have never properly vented the grief from losing her and I'm now 52.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I haven't been able to cry for quite some time. I try but give up because it doesn't come. I want to cry because my family is 1500 miles away and I'm very lonely. I miss my children and grand children so much. God I'm so lost.
I hope I'll get to eventually be able to do what you've done Loddy and just have a good cry.
I do believe at the therapist might actually be a good place to do so. Someone there to help and guide you through the process. I wish you well.
Me? I cry all the time and I am so not sad but find it is a great release and I am sensitive to begin with. I cry happy, sad, laughing my ass off etc....
I remember even crying when on meds because I was frustrated at the disassociation. I felt like I was trapped kinda stuck between worlds so yes, tears even with all that.
HUGS to everyone
