Not meant to happen

So I got off the phone with my mother and she lives in Minnesota. I'm just having a hard time because she's been gone a 2 years and all this year because of covid-19 she wasn't able to visit last April she said a flight to come down in November but getting off the phone with her she mentioned she's still not coming. Does anyone have any similar problems with not being able to see a loved ones do to the pandemic that could give me some insight and closure it hurts that I don't get to see her I was really looking forward to seeing her I think next year chords spring I'm going to try to visit her but still is it even safe just things to reminisce on for this evening thank you for listening

This is so contagious .... Let's hope and pray that by the Spring there is a vaccine and the virus is much more contained....

Hi- You are not alone. I want to visit my family but because of the pandemic, I have to cancel it. I’m hoping that we can visit them next year.

Let’s pray that all of us will remain strong as we wait for this pandemic to be over. Take care and stay safe. God bless.

I don't have family close by either and I probably will not be seeing them in person for another year at least. Hang in there and keep safe.

Thanks for the input I hope it gets easier for now on out and find a vaccination or solution all i can do is wait patiently glad you all understand where I'm coming from

I know how you feel. I can't see my.and stepdad.because of covid both in 80s. I.can't even see my.special need boys again because of covid , its going to be a difficult Christmas not seeing anyone but we must stay safe .
Keep in contact with you mum.by phone so that you.can.keep.a check.on her and just stay safe for everyone around you. Keep smiling..

My one sister won’t visit or let me visit. She is self quarantined still only going to the grocery store. I showed up on her doorstep yesterday with no notice and she was mad but let me come in. She wouldn’t let me kiss her 3 year old or hug her. Her husband ddI hug me. Sister wouldn’t let me have a bite of her lunch even! She did offer me a sandwich. She doesn’t work and her hubby works from home. She won’t visit me and mom because we still go to restaurants and shopping. But she let my older sister who works directly with covid patients babysit her son and vista her often. Makes no sense. It’s frustrating.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
