Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
i would be triggered too if my partner didn't believe in my professional diagnosis. i think you need to get away from that energy for an hour...to get your bearings back.
when i am in a negative place, the only thing that works for me is removing myself physically. usually the mind will follow.
I'm so sorry you're all worked up. PMDD is absolutely real. No question.
Is there a way to go to the hospital on your own without the police being involved?
Does your gramma need constant care or can she manage for a spell on her own while you get the help you need? There's a service in our area called Visiting Angles that looks in on seniors, prepares meals, runs errands, whatever needs to be done.
Sending peaceful wishes your way.
I'm so sorry your being triggered : ( maybe take some time for you?
Maybe you can get a different benzo rx'd?
I didnt want to call crisis last month so I went to an online crisis website and it helped a bit..

if Grandma has medicare &/or medicaid. I would get in home care service to take care of her.
after doing so. I would go to hospital n sign myself in. the hospital P-Dr n P-Nurses will work directly w my Dr.
some hospitals work w charity that will cover part or all of medical bills.
The hospital know name n ph no's to said charity's.
Oh ya. I would hire someone to over c care of my child. maybe get 1 or 2 g/f or realive's to stand in for me.
No matter what I would take care of myself. let the chips fall where they may.My health comes 1st.
View hospital visit as mini vacation. They really can put humpty dumpty back together.
I ended up taking care of myself first because if I didn't take care of me there was no way I could take care of my family (son with issues and somewhat disabled husband)
You are doing the right thing by calling professionals who can help you.
White knuckling the homicidal thoughts is the worst place I've ever been in my life to be honest. I'm saying this so you know you are not alone.
It's horrible right now but I promise things DO get better. Take care of you first so then you will be able to help others including your son.
Ice will bring me back to the present quicker than anything in my experience. I learned that in my DBT class.
It was very frightening for me to feel the way I felt and I was scared of what I might do to others.
I hope your doctor/nurse calls back soon. Could you take a walk with your son? Perhaps that might be beneficial to both of you.
I don't know about PMDD. Never heard of it but did google it to find out info. I never experienced this but that does not mean it isn't real.
I agree with the post I read about getting home health care for your grandma.
If you take care of you first then you will be of help to others.
Sorry I'm droning on about that but I just want you to know you are not alone.
you did good tats. real good!!!
