I've got so much that I need to do today. I just can't even force myself to do any of it. It's hard for me to even get dressed (haven't done that yet).

I have no motivation to do anything but I HAVE to do these things today.
I keep trying to force myself to do things, but I just don't have it in me.

What do you suggest?

Do you want to make a list (a do-able one) and post it here? I have the same trouble, getting up motivation to do things- and sometimes seeing it in print really helps.

I have similar problems. My pdoc has a trick called the 5 min rule. Get a timer and do something for just 5 minutes. It helps get you started and you can actually accomplish a lot more than you think in 5 minutes. Even if it's just making up your bed, folding some laundry or taking out the trash. It's a start. Then it might get you going. It's worth a shot. Good luck.

Ok.
I have to:

*pick up my daughter a couple towns away
*Drive to Maine from NH
*Help my sister move some things b/c my Grandmother is coming in from Florida.

It sucks, but this is what I HAVE to do today.

lol RKB. yeah, I wish 5 minutes was all I had to invest. I could swing that. It'll take 15 minutes just to get my daughter...then 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get to Maine...and probably a couple of hours to move stuff.

It's just not a good day for all of this. But I don't think I've got a choice. I probably will try to weasel my way out somehow though.

I forget how close the states are in New England. I lived in New England for five years but I'm from Texas. You never get out of Texas. Two and half to three hours and your still inside the Houston city limits! LOL

I am having the same problem today. I wrote a little to-do list and mark off each task after it's done. I just push myself and do it and for every task completed I reward myself with somethng like a cup of coffee or an hour on here. Good luck today and get movin girl!

I managed to arrange for my daughter to be dropped off...I packed up clothes for me and the kids and loaded up the car.

Reward for me...Chinese for lunch! Yay. I still have no motivation whatsoever, but at least I'm doing something.
