My mother is actually letting me take the bus! She's pissed about it, but she gave me the money so I can have that bit of freedom. I am super excited. I know it's silly to be excited for a bus ride... But for me? This is freedom. Off I go.

I know how simple things can be like such a freedom. After I had my first baby I was at home all of the time! I mean ALL the time! I DH was working nights and I was afraid to take my eyes off the baby even for a minute. I showered about every three days because I was that afraid to let him out of my sight. It's funny now.. But I remember I left the baby with DH and went to the gas station. All I went for was gas. Didn't need anything. But to get out of the house! Alone! With no responsibilities! FREEDOM! ...Felt good! lol

But about thirty minutes was all I could stand. I HAD to get back to my baby. lol

11 years later and I still have pretty tight apron strings.

You should celebrate even small victories like this. This could be a sign that more good news may is coming down the pike. It has to be difficult having your mom dictate a lot of what you do. They have the leverage because you're living with them. Just be sure that it doesn't get too overwhelming. You don't want anything like this to happen. LOL

Sneak onto a Greyhound and go cross country. It will become the most uncomfortable ride you could know.

I got dropped off at the mall (because I didn't know the bus schedule), had lunch, walked to therapy, walked back to the mall and hopped on the bus home! Oh I bought some incense at the mall as well.
