Tomorrow is my first time meeting this new pdoc, meeting new doctors always fry's my nerves. I know this appointment is important because I haven't been doing all that well lately.

I just don't know how far to let this guy into my head (it's very dark and frightening in there, plus I don't want him messing with my meds to much.

I guess I just need some encouragement to go to this meeting and do what is right by being honest with this Doctor and not go in and play it off like there is nothing wrong.

Hey Will I understand the ambivalence with starting with a new pdoc. I wish you well.

Maybe a check list of things on your mind ie: meds- feelings and even reservations about starting with him. Just to use as a guide leading to discussion and to feel the pdoc out.

To me the first appointment is like a first dance. It can be awkward and new but just maybe worth trying again and move on to the next one!!

Be as honest as you can with the pdoc. That usually works for me.

I know how scary that first meeting can be. I don't like to have my meds messed with either. Hopefully you will hit it off and you can be open with him about how things are really going for you. Wishing you the best!

I know how you feel, it can be scary. Just try to be as honest as you can.
Sorry you haven't been doing that great, hope this appt is the start of better days.

Just got back from pdoc appt. Every went well, he's a very nice guy who both listens and works with you.

He going to tweak a couple of my meds and see if that works, if not he has a couple of other idea's So I just have to wait and see how things go.
