I am on Seroquel XR and like it. Have not gained weight on it though my doc has me weighing every couple of weeks to make sure it's not. No effect on my sex life. I like it because it helps calm me down at night and helps me sleep. Good luck.

seroquel totally made me a zombie, but i've heard it does work good for a lot of people

I've been on it and still take it on occassion when I am having major problems with getting to sleep. I've never heard nor had any complaints when it comes to the sex life. It can cause weight gain but not with everybody. All these meds affect everyone differently, I wish you the best! ox Oh, it can be sedating at first....so if you've been having trouble sleeping, it should help alot!

As always different strokes for different folks. U are the only person that can tell what kind of side effects u will have. Im on a form of wellbrutrin ( because like u, im concered about my sex life) Now some people on wellbrutrin gets manic, upset stomach, hot flashes ect. I have no side effects. So dont let other people experiences stop u from taking it. I have been on seroquel and it made me fat and zombie like. but they always say that the side effects decrease in time.I only took it to help me sleep because I was coming off drugs. So when my sleeping pattern came back I quite. Just look out for weight gain and the zombie like effect should wear off in time. Good luck!

I am concerned about taking it because when I was on Abilify it stabilized me to the point i neither laughed or cried. I don't want to feel nothing. I love to laugh so I am a little worried about how much its going to affect me. She said I'm on low dose 50mg. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for the input everyone.

I just started Seroquel a, couple of weeks ago. At first, I was a zombie and slept 12 hours a day. Now, I'm not a zombie, but I sleep 12 hours a day. I can't tell that it's had an affect on my sex drive, but it's definitely not keeping me from laughing or crying. Good luck!
