This Tuesday I'm suppose to start my treatment for my Hep C. Last time I tried this was a dismal failure as the HepC drugs cause me to have anxiety, irritability and aggression from hell, of course I was non-medicated for my BP at the time.
Hep C treatments involves drugs that have side effects that can cause serious reactions in people with MI's such as depression or BP, including severe depression, suicidal ideation, or symptom's of dysphoric mania/ mixed episodes such as severe irritability, agitation and aggression.
It cause's a variety of physical problems as well.
Fortunately I am on BP meds now and have a pdoc closely watching and has said I'm stable. I'm still scared out of my wits because of the severity of the side effect's of this treatment.
I'm also concerned that the treatment will set off another bout of my IBS, which I just got through
I am going to need all of the support of the people here at home and all of the support of the people here on DS to make it through the next 48 weeks if I'm going to make it through this.
It's not easy for me to admit this but people. I'm scared and I need you.

Maybe you can keep a daily journal/log of how you are feeling physically and mentally. It will be a good tool when communicating with your docs.
