Hey yall. I am nervous. I have an appointment in one hour and four minutes with a new doc to me something for pain. I am not telling him I am bipolar for fear he won't give me anything for said pain. However, I hate being dishonest like that. I think that's what has gotten me nervous. I will be so glad when it's over with. Wish me luck please.

It'll be okay hun. I got some pain meds and they know I have bp....I haven't had them deny me because of it....I hope and pray you get relief soon, I know you have been hurting for far too long now.

Good luck Chelle. I don't think they'd' deny you pain meds due to BP, I take lots but always check that they don't counteract each other first. love ya xoxo

They shouldn't deny you unless they know you have a history of drug abuse.

I know exactly what you mean about not telling the dr you're bipolar.
I recently went to a gastrointestinal dr and he made a point of saying something about my "psychological problems". I was so mad, I felt like he was telling me the pain was all in my head...urgh

good luck chele..i get oxys from my pain doc for my lupus and ddd and she knows i am bp.. you shouldnt have a problem..let us know.. hugs .love marie
