OMG!
I knew it was my mom's birthday coming up but no one bothered to tell me when her party was until one day before hand. Which was fine but I was having my kids unexpectedly as well.
Also I had to wake up earlier than normal, WAY earlier than I'm use to, to get my children and then sunday I had to wake up again way earlier than normal!
So every one waits until 9pm to show up for my mom's party even though we had been calling them all night long. I was going to just sleep at my moms house but by 9:30 it was apparent that no one was leaving for a long time.
I can't sleep with noise so I decided to go home. I live an hour away, that means I got to bed at 11 to wake up at 6. that may sound reasonable to some people but for me that is not enough sleep. I was already pissy and bitchy from Sat.
So am I alone here?
Do you really really need sleep and feel like people don't understand because they only need 4 hours of sleep a night and do just fine?
I need 9-12 hours of sleep. I try to keep it at 9 but I get really cranky if it's any less than that.

No, you're not alone...not getting enough sleep messes with me too. Hope you sleep well tonight!

If it wasn't for naps I'd be psychotic all the time!

I can function on 8.5 but not well. I need anywhere from 9-10 to really be in top functioning.

Ya I need my sleep too...get awful cranky and the stress that comes without getting enough is horrible and I stress enough on good days. Totally with you on this one dear.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
