my partner has bi polar and I feel she is being took advantage of. i'll try to explain. my partner has been playing this game on her pc called world of warcraft for a few years now . this woman who lives in the Netherlands plays it to . my partner has never met this woman in person (we live in the uk) all she knows about her is what this woman has told her which is she is depressed and playing world of warcraft is the only thing that helps her through it etc but tells my partner she hasn't a lot of money as the benefits are not a lot in the Netherlands. when she runs out of game credit (8.99) she send my partner a facebook message saying she can't play world of warcraft because she's run out of credit and then my partner pays for credit for her. my partner says this woman doesn't ask her to pay but I feel this woman is asking her because not once has this woman said "oh no I can't accept you paying for me etc" I know my partner and I know she will believe sob stories . even before my partner moved in with me I was helping her pay important bills because she hadn't a lot of money but she was even then paying for this woman to play.
I have seen my partners friends take advantage of her things like asking her to buy a round of drinks but never buying a round themselves. asking her to take them places etc.
we ourselves are on benefits because neither of us can work due to mental illness.
now this is where I need advice. about a month ago yet again my partner paid for game credit for this woman but my partner never deletes conversations from her facebook we both have access to each others accounts mainly because of playing facebook games even her mum has access to her account . but on the same night she had paid for this woman she had had a conversation with her but deleted it which she has never deleted anything like that before. I tried not to get paranoid but it kept going through my head what was it my partner didn't want me knowing. what sob story had this woman given her this time. then a few weeks later I saw this woman had messaged my partner and my partner hadn't been on facebook that day to see it now I know I was wrong to look but I'm desperately worried about my partner being conned out of money. this time this woman said she couldn't get on warcraft because both her pc and laptop had broke. which set alarm bells off for me. I thought what is the likelihood of both a pc and laptop breaking at the same time. I was very worried if my partner read her message she would somehow send her money without me knowing to get her pc and laptop repaired. so I deleted her message. but what do I do when she sends more messages and my partner does see them.
I've tried talking to my partner in the past about being conned etc but she won't take any notice. yes this woman could had been telling the truth about her depression etc but things don't add up . I am only trying to protect my partner .like I said I know I was wrong to read that message but I am worried sick for my partner.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I can understand why you are worried, the message removed might have been to do with asking for money or anything else your partner felt uncomfortable with.
I can only suggest you continue to talk to her.
My own very limited experience of the Netherlands regarding benefits is that they are probably better than in the UK but that was one person I knew and it was probably a decade ago but even so I suspect they get more over there.
