Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

My daughter can be exactly the sameway, not wanting to go to school over having a bad hair day or a slight headache. Then all I hear in her room is Boom, Boom, Boom...GRRRR!!! I have learned to remain calm with her when she throws a tantrum like that. I choose my battles with her now you could say. Believe me it is SO hard, but at least I don't sucked into her drama and we don't end up in a screaming match anymore.
I wish you all the best. Good luck with your appt today. (((HUGS)))
He still has all his teeth, lucky too.....LOL
The only thing I know to do is to keep the music turned up when he is on one of his hissy fit sprees!! I did good......only hollered one time!
Hang in there!
I swear if it's not one thing it's another around here.....get real old real fast.....but that's ok I've made it through much, much worse!!! I'm not going to let him or anything else blow me out of the water and ruin my day today.....I've got things I want to get accomplished and by God I will!!!!
We will get through this as this too shall pass!!!
I was a teen from hell... smile.. I hope the therapy goes GREAT...xoxo
My son is 23 and would not be living here except for the fact I refuse to see him homeless .... yet.
I came to the conclusion to let him suffer the natural consequences of his actions. I can not force him to do anything. For one thing he is not a minor and two he's bigger than I am.
If he gets in any trouble it's not my problem and I will not be there to bail him out. I have enough to worry about without getting involved in his sh*t.
Remember "no" in and of itself is a complete sentence what don't they understand about that.
If he's an "ambulance chaser" (runs down the hall after you after you have said end of discussion then go to the bathroom. Hopefully no one will say you don't need to use the bathroom or take a shower. If they do then they have issues.
Best of luck to you.
Deb,
Why didn't he want to go to shop class? Sounds fun.
I don't know what the hell he's doing in that class, if he is asking for help or not. I'm going to talk to him today after school as long as he doesn't still have a shitty attitude. I almost hit him this morning....NOT a good way to wake me up let me tell ya! lol
Hang on to your memories, I am sorry he is/was getting on your nerves. Therapy can teach you alot about not allowing someone else to have control of your emotions.
Hope the day gets/got better..................xo
Just because the guy is 5ft5 now hes trying to throw his weight around....hes got another thing comin'!

Anyway, soon he will be old enough to move out , and seriously , you WILL miss him someday

I am not a real religous person.. but i have found that if I pray for the right answer and to be shown what to do next.. Or ask for help on what to do the right answer will come...
He might be having a problem at school and is afraid to tell you about it. Maybe he is being picked on.. Maybe he is behind in his homework...
Its up to you if you want to get in there and see what is going on..I know that when the bp flares up I just seem interested in myself and I do not want to be bothered by others problems... .But being a parent throws us into their lives...
I hope this helps.. But he could be asking for help but does not know how to ask..
I hope this works out .
