My tears fall like rain
on pages full of dread
my mind searches for answers
but fills with fear instead
my heart fills with emptiness
as the tides ebb and flow
my soul searches for solace
I fear I'll never know
all my dreams have faded
all my truth is gone
alone I stand in a sea of pain
wondering what I've done
no one comes to save me
no one seems to last
no one is my best friend
as time just ticks on past
