Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

And it is so hard to live with her. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 2 years ago, and she won't take her medicine.
She's so mean and hateful on her bad days. I lived with her while in college and I just finished and we moved into my grandparents' cause I couldnt find a job.
there are days when she will get so mean and angry, she tells me things like she wished she'd aborted me, and that she would blow my brains out, and that she hopes I get in a car wreck.
she also takes money from me. she pawned my car title. she pretended to be me and opened up a cell phone account in my name. she pretended to be me and opened up a bank account in my name.
I'm so distraught. I love my mom but she won't take her medicine. she's hateful and angry.
a few times I have crushed up her pills and put them in her food or drink. I could live with her then. she did a complete 360 in regards to her mood and personality.
our whole family is distraught. she steals things, she's a pathological liar. every word that comes out of her mouth is a lie.
*sigh*

I'm sorry for your pain. You might want to visit the Friends and family of bipolar board. they might have some insight as to how to cope.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. That has to be so painful. Maybe you can find a support group in your area that can help you deal with the pain.
