Contact the pharmaceutical company. Most of them have a sliding scale based on your income. I was getting my Lamictal for free.

$302 for prescriptions is crazy. Drug.com has a discount card that pharmacies take. It is free and may help with the cost.

My Pdoc gave me samples for years , until I got insurance.

Also, Target and Walmart have a plan where some meds are only 4 $ each.

One of my scripts is over $500 a month, I just can't afford it so I can't take it. It's not a bp script though it's for Narcolepsy. (Nuvigil) I have insurance but it doesn't cover scripts.

First drug prices of virtually every Rx brand name drug is highway robbery of the first order. By that I mean i super rip off. Pharms are the most profitable firms in the US. Then the nerve of them of finding new uses to push their brand names even more years before generics can be started. For example Prozac for PMS. Welbutrin for smoking cessations. Give me a break!! Then the Canadian pharmacies are critizized when they sell the exact same meds as the US counterparts. FDA Talk about rackets. Can Obamacare help?

Like dobie said, try contacting the company! Sometimes they give out meds for free -- or at a very discounted price. I'm on Abilify and that costs about $1200/month! Thankfully, I have a Medicare part D plan and receive help from the state - I end up paying $2.00 or less.

That's how much my AP cost me before I got on disability and medicaid. Ofc that was seven years ago and I knew nothing about programs to help without insurance. My pdoc gave me samples for the rest of my meds until I had insurance but he didn't have any for the AP.
