This link is good in the US, MA to be exact. It is the Commonwealth Connector. Since everyone is required to have insurance, there's lots of free and discount insurance available based upon income.

I was suprised how easy it was to get free medical care when I moved to Minneapolis, MN , USA, I live in Dakota county and that is where I went to get my help, but I'm sure the whole metro area is the same as where I live.

As far as healthcare goes there is nothing much out there unless you are elderly, pregnant, or disabled according to social security.

There are county mental healthcare centers that work off a sliding scale fee. They will file for prescription assistance for you and provide samples. Below is a link for the county I live in.
