Hey guys!! This is a rant. Sorry, but it just has to be. I hope you are all doing okay, but I am pissed. That stupid bitch that I saw today didn't write me anything at all for pain. The only thing she ordered was hydrotherapy. Makes me hate the guts of my former pain doctor that quit writing my meds because of the bipolar. I wish now that I had never told him about it. Me and my stupid ass mouth!!!!!
I was in a "righteous" period then though. I had to be perfectly righteous about everything in my life no matter what. Fucking idiot!! I just don't know what I am going to do now for pain.
The only pain meds I have been having was/is only the few that we rake up and scrape up money to buy from a friend and she can't get rid of too many because her hubby needs them. Plus a very few that Jim has been getting when he gets a tooth pulled once a month. Have to take one and a half of those to get an hours or two worth of any kind of relief. Then for about 2-1/2-3 weeks outta the month, I have to hurt. Then I have to share with Jim what I do get and don't even know that he hurts half the time.........he just likes the hype of them.
I feel so distraught. I am so tired of hurting. Anywho, I am sorry for this negative post, but I thank you guys for your love and support.

Some anti-depressants and drugs like Lyrica can deal with the pain associated with FM and depression.
I have a long term script for Percocet but it only deals with some specific joint pain.
It's hard to say what's appropriate without knowing where your pain originates.
It is also my understanding that there is a general tightening on dispensing pain med in the US now. (I am in Canada).
Is their any way you could go toa pain specialists? Susan
Susan..............I was going to pain management, but he quit writing my meds due to my bipolar diagnosis that I stupidly told them about. Percocet helps tremendously with my back, leg and joint pain. You are lucky to have meds to help you.
Someone mentioned lyrica in an earlier reply and let me just tell you- that shit made me suicidal! be wary.
I take the hydrocodone for my endo pain, and I know it messes with moods, slightly, but I can't imagine what my moods would be like if I had to suffer in pain all day long!! ugh. I'm sorry for ranting on your rant, chelle, but those of us who suffer from chronic pain should be treated this way.

Jen..........I don't think that I have ever been labeled as such though I cannot be sure. How's you doing?
I know that the hydrocodone makes me feel "up" for a while and probably doesn't help to level my moods ie - it's working against the meds, a little. but still, not a reason to deny, I think.
