Even a pet shelter. Part of the program could be to teach women who want, to become vet techs.
One of the big reasons why women will not leave their present abusive living situations, is because of fear of revenge -- not surprisingly, less often afraid of her own safety, but more afraid of the safety for her children and even her pets before her own.
Wouldn't it be great to have a "start to finsish" program, where women can safely leave abusive relationships, take everything with her that needs to be kept safe, and be restored and restarted on a new life without fear of being maimed or killed.
