Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I think people are being fake nice to me just to make fun of me behind my back. I haven't been on this site long enough to wonder about fabricated hugs yet.
Yet.
I know for a fact that there are people here for the wrong reasons. They have messaged me more than 1 time. Me and 1 of my friends on DS call them trolls. They think since we have problems they cyber bully us and try to induce suicide or irrational behavior.
If you know someone is a troll or think they are you can IGNORE them and thier posts.
But remember this is an illness and we are all fighting each and everyday if only in our own way!!!!
As to trolls who would stoop to delight in driving a teen-aged bipolar to suicide or anything along those lines, I'm sure that such sickos exist. But I think they are far and few between.
As to a commonality amongst hugs and comments and the fact that they turn up within the same group of people, well, like clings to like, there are some topics which occur again and again, since this community has a specific focus, and I think it would be very unusual indeed if there WEREN'T a lot of similar responses posted!!! There's only so many ways for one to say 'I'm sorry you're feeling this way; I've been there, too', and the like.
So 1 good thing in my eyes is not good enough to stay on the site. I hope everyone gets LOTS and LOTS of good information.
I get more good than bad, but it's just my hypersensativity that make me want to kick the negativity in the A$$..
