Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I stayed with my alcoholic, abusive husband for 24 years because I was scared to be alone. It didn't matter that I had the College Degrees and brought home all the money, it didn't matter that I was the one who took care of our 2 sons, it didn't matter that I had BiPolar and 7 other medical illnesses that required me to have 30 surgeries in 17 years, I was still the one who held down a full time job, bought our homes and made sure we had insurance coverage, etc. LOL and I was scared to leave the loser because at 43 I'd never lived alone before. Well finally I had enough and left him and it's been a dream. I love living alone. My sons live here on and off and my S.O. stays here and there, but for the most part I live alone and I love it! And hell would freeze over before I'd let any damn man talk to me like that.
There are always ways to make it without a man, you don't have to have a guy around to make it. You deserve better than some guy calling you those kinds of names and speaking to you like that. You need to step back and look at the situation...that man is not going to change, and you deserve so much better, so so much better.
