I'm very depressed today because it's my birthday. It's usually a very bad day. No one will be over and I cannot go anywhere because of the amputations. I have very strong urges to cut. Because I have a very real problem with infections and poor circulation that is a dangerous thing to do. Both of my amputations were from infections from cutting. I've been hospitalized twice with MRSA and once I lost so much blood they had to give me 12 pints. My meds have been working well and I don't think it has anything to do with that, just my birthday. I'm probably going to lose the fight and start cutting. It's short sleeve weather and people are asking what happened to my arms. Birthdays suck pond scum.

I can not change what you have endured loum- I will just say that I know many care about you here at DS and if posisble keep fighting that urge and try to engage with your friends here.

I want to wish you a Happier Day and at least for me every day I am here is in some way a Happy Birthday so I will wish that for you as well! Hang in there and I truly hope you you find one thing to keep you fighting the good fight! Peace.

SO very sorry for all your going through.
I dont like birthdays must either, brings to much to the surface for me.
Think of it as just another day, that might help.
PLEASE dont start cutting you will regret it in the end, sounds like you already do.

Thank you, I'm also very frustrated filling out forms for disability. Even my short term disability has not been approved because my doctors haven't sent in the forms and right now I have no income. The doctors have had the forms for 3 weeks now. I'm having strong thoughts of suicide. If things don't improve I will have to call my therapist, but I don't think there is anything she can do except ask me to go to the hospital. I am feeling very negative right now.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
