I am in by no way claiming perfection, but I've noticed that sometimes we get worked up or get ourselves worked up over what is essentially nothing. Just typed words. Daily Strength is for spiritually helping each other up, not verbally ( or in our case, typographically) beat each other down. I guess I'm asking people to think of the most important people on these boards... The new ones. The ones not coming here because it's been the habit to do so for the last 6 months or Year or 2 years, but the ones lost in the world trying to find a place of understanding and empathetic unity.

I have seen people call me a know more than a few times, and that hurts. because the way I see it, We were all lost too and all I want to do is help all of you when I can. You are all my friends to me. I'm not claiming to be smarter than anyone. I just like to share any knowledge I do have and in cases where I don't, find it and share it. That is why I like being here, is helping people figure out the answer. I in no way claim to be a doctor or attempt Diagnosing peoples problems. I only share what I know.

I am so glad that you came out and stated this. I have personally been attacked for my thoughts. Unbelievable. This is the only outlet for me to communicate with people like me,...fighting this illness. I have made some really good friends here. I thank God for DS for bringing us together. Thank you for stepping up Chugger. HUGS

I'm new here, and I am new to BP as well. Im confused at the min, I've been on the site for 2 weeks, and I am getting frustrated for reasons I dont understand. Hmmmm I guess I'm just confused

And so you should hun, ppl like that are just selfish, a few days ago on another site, I was really having a tough time and I came online to seek help and advice, and I had one lady say to me that I was attention seeking, that I just wanted extra attention when that clearly wasnt the case. If ppl dont like what you type then they always have the choice of reading something else, or logging off. You do what you do for a reason, and people like me sincerely appreciate it, so dont stop!!!

Learning is how we all grow....we give what we have, and agree or disagree. If you know how to think for yourself, then you can figure out what's right and what's wrong. If you just want to swallow everything you're told, and cry because it is not all correct and you have to do the work to tell the difference, then who's at fault?

I've seen a few people come on here, saying stuff they obviously know nothing about...and sooner or later, they get the picture that they really don't know, or figure out everyone is figuring that out, and they move on. THat is part of the beauty of a community....when you see congruence with others, you can be pretty safe it's right.
