Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am in by no way claiming perfection, but I've noticed that sometimes we get worked up or get ourselves worked up over what is essentially nothing. Just typed words. Daily Strength is for spiritually helping each other up, not verbally ( or in our case, typographically) beat each other down. I guess I'm asking people to think of the most important people on these boards... The new ones. The ones not coming here because it's been the habit to do so for the last 6 months or Year or 2 years, but the ones lost in the world trying to find a place of understanding and empathetic unity.
I have seen people call me a know more than a few times, and that hurts. because the way I see it, We were all lost too and all I want to do is help all of you when I can. You are all my friends to me. I'm not claiming to be smarter than anyone. I just like to share any knowledge I do have and in cases where I don't, find it and share it. That is why I like being here, is helping people figure out the answer. I in no way claim to be a doctor or attempt Diagnosing peoples problems. I only share what I know.

We owe newcomers a big welcome.
It's not always easy coming here asking for help. It can be a bit scary being newly diagnosed.
But it's great that you try to help people here, Chuggs, but please remember basic human nature.
People will never be perfect.
To help is great, but to lecture on the board members' imperfections will set you apart as a 'holier than thou' and that's not what ya want.
You're a nice guy though.
Hope they help those who need to keep life simple. That's what I got tonight.
