I love love love scary movies and revenge movies. Here's what happened to me recently. On another board, this member and I discussed my time working in a morgue.

We were "laughing it up" about certain situations. Working amongst the dead, you have to have a sense of humor. This discussion went on in the middle of the night. The next day, two women came on there all insulted by our macabre sense of humor.

They'd never worked in a morgue and I told them if they went to every morgue in the country, they'd probably find the same thing. Gotta laugh.

So actually Hanna, only in recent years have I gotten into scary stuff. And back when I was in college studying forensics, osteology and death in general. I have a dark sense of humor and I think most beepers do. Don't feel bad about it.

My favorite movie is 'What Lies Beneath' with HArrison Ford, and can't think of her name....I love suspense...scary

Totally depends where I am at the time. If I've been stable for a while, then I can watch scary movies. If I'm teetering, I can't do it.

I like scary movies. I didn't think that movie was scary one bit. The first one wasn't either. Since I was a little kid I watched scary movies and they never scared me back then either. I hope it's not that we are morbid in our way of thinking. I also like true crime shows and movies too.

I can watch suspense, but not scary or gory. I pretty much stay away from anything upsetting. I've had enough fun and games in real life to last a lifetime.

Oh, I loved "What Lies Beneath". That's right up there in my top 25 movies for sure!

I like suspenseful and horror movies that don't show a lot of gore but I can't stomach the really messy ones.

My all time fav scary movie is "The Woman in Black". There is absolutely nothing icky in it but the suspense is a killer. I love it!

I love scary movies!

Can't watch them anymore. My sensitivity to these things is getting worse.

I can watch most of them, except for vampires, zombies and werewolfs. IMHO, they are assinine, ridiculous and thoroughly unimaginative.

But if there's a real plot, even if it's gross, I can watch it. A gory example is the Saw movies. It's also suspenseful and a realistic plot. A good example of plot and gore is the movie "Serenity". But then I'm partial to Sci-fi.

In other words, if there is a reason in the plot for the gore, okay, but if the movie is simply out to gross us out...no way.

Well I hear paranormal activities, both of them, are real crap movies. I've heard this from almost everyone I know who has seen it. SO it may just be a shitty movie :\
