Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

People put on a brave face but I need to remember something next time I feel inferior or anxious. Beepers may be more in touch with the energy in the room than normies often but everyone has mummy issues, OK? Normies aren't perfect either just usually more confident and resiliant. That's all.
I have been getting friend invites from old school people to reconnect and they are creating issues because people look perfect and I logged in. Within 4 minutes a journal entry makes the thought that solves my problem occur... everyone has mummy issues! and I laugh.
This truly is the best place and you are wonderful people my friends :-D
I will laugh again if someone has commented while I have been typing hehe
Think on this. I may have been too disorganised and sick to coordinate my affairs well enough to keep in touch, but I have all your photos or avatars in a file and play it as a supporters slideshow when I feel low!
What do you think of that?
Oh I have a fantastic new dog too. She is a wonderful companion.
I'm taking a FB break now though.....sigh.... I have gotten in the habit of signing a lot of petitions over time.... Many have to do with animal rights and cruelty.... A lot of awful photos and videos are now regularly showing up on my page I think due to supporting different agencies and I can't stand it especially right now
So unfortunately I won't be signing any at least for a while.... They're too much for me right now with all that's already going on
So I'm going to stay clear of FB for a couple of months
What are everyone's mommy issues???...... xo
I'll tell you anyway. Because of covid the most important think I can do right now is tell you I love you like my sister and am sorry for the times in my illness I may have said or done something that hurt you.
I cherish our friendship even though I am unreliable.
I can't imagine you saying or doing anything to hurt anyone.... You are a dear soul and this was such a good idea!!!
You are loved to Moobs and it's great to hear the names of our dear old DS peeps.... I wish that they were here to
Moobs I’m glad the Covid era has been what sounds like a reflective life moment to pause, it sounds? That’s a healthy artful take on it. I cherish our friendship too and what a lovely sentiment to share. You’re pretty hard on yourself, aren’t you? Big hugs your way.
This place has been keeping me sane and it’s always comforting to know we’ve got friends new and old to help duke out the highs and lows of life. Together.
I don't know about other people's mummy issues but I have lots. Here is a relevant one. She is so close to perfect it's annoying. :-D
She has a hang up with something. All her family fear her disapproval. I cannot recall her ever telling me first that she loves me except in speeches about all her kids at family events. She tells me I am the only one of her kids that tells her, but it was tough work getting her to sound like she loves me rather than just parrot it back.
Her mother now long deceased drove a wedge between us when she lied and told mum I called her a see you next tuesday. My grandmother was angry I what I had actually told her was that her dead husband, my grandpa, would have been ashamed of the way her gossip had ruined my spouse and child's reputation at his school. She had been tarring him a problem child in a gossip session with the principal of the school no less. She "got in first" to make mum distrust me. She tried to apologise on her deathbed but I told her it wasn't necessary. I had forgiven her long before. I still think mum doesn't believe I didn't say anything of the sort and used no swear words at all when I spoke to my grandmother. I rarely if ever swear. Honest truth. Can you believe it?
I am one of her black sheep of the immediate and extended family. All these people with problems (mental health issues) that aren't super achievers like her normy children, nieces and nephews y'know. She loves us but blames her family believing illnesses are all hereditary, patronising me because of the beeper label to put it plain and simple.
I love and honor her. She is lovely and a wonderful mum that thinks I don't notice.
