I decorated the porch today! It's close enough to fall.

Our vacuum cleaner died last week and we got a new one delivered Saturday night. I vacuumed this morning and My, all the cat fur! That old vacuum had been dying for nearly a month, so.

I spent the day exploring nature preserves in SC. Now I’m on my balcony listening to the waves and people watching.

A few days late! My day mostly consists of social
Media. I spend time in my veggie and flower beds every day. I’m physically disabled, but my husband built me raised veggie beds, and they are very easy to work in. I did neglect the garden totally this summer because of the heavy forest fire smoke, which I am allergic to, and was everywhere! I have masks when the air quality gets bad, but when it is too hot I sweat, and just can’t handle it. But despite the neglect, we’ve been eating fresh veggies from May.. Right now my counters are filled with fresh garden veggies. I had a bumper crop of cucumbers, tomatoes, beans & peas. Carrotsare a favourite, along with eggplant and peppers.

I am binge watching shows at night.

You remind me I need to exercise more, and play my flute. One of my hands is very deformed from
RA, which makes it very painful to play. My singing voice is gone, too!

The highlites of my summer, were staying with 3 of our grandkids and their parents in a condo in Whistler BC. We did all the sights, I had my electric scooter along to keep up. The beginning of September, we went to
A Family wedding in Calgary, Alberta. We have 4 grandkids in 2 families there. We saw a lot of hockey, gymnastics and had great fun with the little ones.

All in all a pretty good summer, except the for the smoke!
