My ex's paternal grandmother never used her noggin'. Didn't read, do puzzles, nada. She developed Alzheimer's and I'm not saying that's why. No one knows why people develop that.
His maternal grandmother read constantly, did puzzles and lived to be in her 90's with a mind as sharp as a tack. I think it helps.
They even have a place for people with mental problems they don't have bipolar but they have PTSD and well I suffer from that as well.
I also like hidden object games. I used to read and now I can't concentrate long enough to read a book all the way through. I think I've 20 books I've started and never finished.
