Okay so all these antipsychotics block seretonin and dopamin and thats what makes us happy so how in the world do we ever suppose to stop feeling like Zombies and feel happy. (uuurgh)

A particular condition such as psychotic mania or schizoaffective can be improved with meds. Anti-psychotics are classified as Major Tranquilizers. Happiness is a feeling, not an absolute. We can generate happiness no matter our circumstances. I was always happy that I was no longer manic and could sleep. It took a while to get things just the way I wanted, but I achieved that.

I am schizoeffective on two anti-psychs and still get feelings of happiness, even when I am in this darn depression

maybr your dose is to high? i know on my regular dose of Abilify i feel quite happy most of the time, it's when i don't take my regualr dose, like now cause i'm running low and the stuff is soooooooo expensive, i'm only taking half dose and feel like i'm slipping into mania

I've been getting an occasional feeling of contentment and happiness. I'm on Seroquel, Lamictal and Tegretol.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
