It seems my med adjustments wear off after a week or two. I don't know why this keeps happening. I don't know if the tweaks are too small or if I finally feel relief that I get used to feeling. But my symptoms return so I don't really believe its relief. I have been med adjusting since Sept and frankly I am sick and tired of feeling good in bits and bites. I see my pdoc next week any advice?

I went through a year of med adjustments and I can really understand your frustration. All I can say is just keep at it working with your pdoc until you get the right meds in the right amounts that does it for you. Best of luck to you.

I understand that! One thing that I discovered. Make sure that if your doctor prescribed medication, the pharmacy gives you the specific brand he prescribed (if he did). I have really been screwed up because the pharmacy gave me a generic instead.

I perfectly understand. I had my meds adjusted every two weeks to one month for more than a year. Then when I got the "right" concoction, I had to change my meds because I couldn't stand the side effects. So it's not an easy ride, but hang on in there, and I hope you'll find the right combination for you soon.

I was mis-prescribed for 6 years and it nearly took my life. I mention this because, while our meds, our brains and brain functions are very complex and thus we need to give meds a chance to work and the psychiatrist the chance to have a go with your condition/s and meds, there is also a point at which you say, no, I actually need a second opinion. It may not even be that you leave your doctor, just say to them, I am getting a second opinion and then that means you are getting more coverage in terms of the different education and learnings of a couple of different doctors. The other thing I learned the hard way, just through naeivity that my doctors had my interests at heart is to do deep and continuous research into both you psychiatric condition/s and medications you are on. We must be armed with information.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
