Well it's not the ladies man thing that I am cocerned about. I have been racing since I have been 18 and have been giving it up slowly ever since I was married. It's expensive , but the one thing that I have always loved and the one thing thats keeping me going other than my kids. They economy sucks and its really hard to swing the cost of getting back into it. Since my ex took me to the cleaners when we divorced. Don't know what to do, just throw it on the line and do it or sit back and be content. I am an adrinaline junky and beat my body up so bad that it will be shot by the time I am 55. I already need to get knee and hip surgey due to some accidents not related to auto racing.
Matt74
Vicky, you really need to tell me how to do it. It's not easy for me
Matt74
One other thing, I don't get around on this board to much becuase it's hard to do on a phone. Hopefully next week I will get my internet and then be able to go all over real easy. I don't mean to seem selfish

Find a happy medium, like Zany said. Get out there and have fun!

Maybe something in the mid range where you can be adventurous but not beat up on your body. There are lots of activities you can still do that are fun and exciting that don't end in a car wreck! Travel, etc. And it will get you out to meet people so you have more social activities going on. Good luck!
Matt74
Oh no, I gave up all the other stuff I did that wrecked my body. Auto racing is the only thing that I have never been hurt in! Go figure!!

LOL Matt. I bet racing is expensive. Can you afford to get back into it if nothing comes of it? I have never been much of a risk taker myself. I always bet on the sure thing. And there ain't many of them around. Hugs hon.
