Hi everyone it's me Kayla again...
my manic episodes are really intense I spent my entire stimulus check. I packed up drove from southwest Louisiana to Springfield, Mo just for the weekened. I gor let go from my job at the beginning of 2020 and packed up and drove to Tampa for a week where I spent all of my money. I always start things and never finish or follow through with things... am I the only one who gets manic and completely screws up? Or just runs? I'm 22 and I still don't have a home and I just graduated from college with my associates... also I bounced from job to job from 2016-2020..Thanks in advance...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

If your episodes are happening this often it doesn't sound like you're on the right med regime
Good for you graduating ... That's awesome!!
It may be some time to find stability... I would work with your pdoc and as soon as you're starting to feel manic I would call.....
What goes up must come down and there's a crash after a mania.... That's no good sweetie.... Big hug... xo
A financial adviser is great but not when you're manic sweetie... That's a symptom of your illness and I doubt that a financial adviser can help much with that
Working with your psych ... finding the right meds and coping skills
If there's someone that you trust completely you might want to leave your bank card with them... a parent or sibling until you find stability..... Big hug....xo
i have only cash but do use debit and credit cards online which is a problem now
there is not much i can do about it i am not stable but as the others said talk to your doc try new meds they may help
Generally we Manic types that have/had money issues don't have a lot of credit cards, don't save financial information online for any kind of shopping and use Savings and Checking accounts to keep money separate and harder to spend or get a hold of. For a few years in my worst unstable state I didn't even have a Debit Card.
I have a Financial Company that handles my stocks and retirement accounts, but they have nothing to do with my everyday banking accounts.
I have already started to spend some on Amazon have to get cash. There is no way for me to spend cash no car so that helps hope it works out good luck
