As some of you may know I have really struggled with the break up I had with my boyfriend. I went to see my therapist and she told me to pick two times preferably 12hours apart and take 5 min each time to think about my boyfriend. Once the time is up no more thinking about him til the next time. I started doing this Saturday and it has really helped, today was the first day I did not think about him at all. I am so happy now I need to keep it up. Any triggers I removed like love songs or anything to do with romance. I am glad I am finally moving forward.

I have tiny "Worry Dolls" from a culture I've forgotten. - they're tiny handmade craft. You're supposed to take them out and think about your troubles for a short time at nite, and then wrap them up and put them away. Then when you start to worry in bed, you say to yourself, "well I don't have my Worry Dolls out now, so it will have to wait till tomorrow." Maybe I'll start using them again!

After a breakup, I would make a list of the things I DID NOT like about him and all the mean things he said/did to me. Whenever I would miss him, I would take out the list.
It worked beautifully.
