My husband & I have been together for 13 years and married for 11. With us the sex is either very hot or not at all. And like shen it seems to cycle. We are having a dry spell. But I am sure that things will turn around any day now.

We have been together for thirteen years. And the sex has been great.We go to couples classes . and look for new appraoches to sex to keep things interesting. We have found that the time we spend together makeing eachother happy"sex" is best done If we do it in a thoughtfull and regular way. The older we get the better and more regular our love life gets.

I was in a LTR for 14 years. For the first eight years, the sex was amazing. We were like rabbits. Then, the spontinaity went away. Other things in the relationship did the sex, and ultimately the relationship in.

I think a mix of spontinaity and schedule is good. When things were working, we'd schedule romantic trips together; renting a cabin on the beach, going camping, travelling to other cities for weekend getaways. When we took the time to have fun together, the sex would just happen naturally!

If you call scheduling, just before, and just after, "that time of the month" every month. Two times a month. Rarely more than that. Talk about boring. And if the mood struck HIM, but I did try once, and was so humiliated by his response, I never tried again. 10 years of it, and I finally started to wake up and smell another life.

Yeah lol actually it does become a bit scheduled but i still like to spice it up, hey who said you cant have sex a couple times a day? lol

I've been with my husband almost 28 years and have been married for almost 21. We are very open with our needs and very comfortable with each other. I can't imagine being with anyone else at this point in my life. Sex can be spontaneous or planned.

My LTRs never last more than a month or two if they are a live in type because i wear em out. (true story) :(

We have been married 11 years and during the kids baby year it was non existant. I still find the fact that the kids are in their rooms next door a bit offputting. BUT, we do organise sleep over for the kids or book ourselves a romantic weekend away while the kids stay with friends. There's nothing better than sex and Champagne in a hotel room.

For me I think it's cyclical...unbelievable cycles of love and lust and then cycling into the barren desert...but isn't life just one big, long cycle anyway?
