The Matrix is my favorite movie of all time. I watch it whenever it's on TV. I also have the DVD.

I love A Christmas Carol and as a chick flick I love Fried Green Tomatoes

The film The Temptations was an awesome tribute filled with great music and I also loved the film Mississippi Burning which was a tragic true story that shows sadly the human ability to hate...… Very moving though

I love Fried Green Tomatoes too. I know I've seen Mississippi Burning, but it was along time ago...I'll have to check it out. I liked About a Son, which is not a popular movie or maybe never heard about by some other than Nirvana or Kurt Cobain fans. I own the DVD and just watched it again recently. It's mostly about Kurt Cobain's life mainly up until Nirvana, I believe. I've watched so many interviews and bios on youtube about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, that I get confused. I just watched a couple Robin Williams interviews on youtube...what another great loss in the entertainment world! I was LMAO though!

BTW, I could list numerous Robin Williams' films that I love!

Christmas movie--It's a Wonderful Life

Does I really have to pick a favorite?

Even the movies I don't like are fun to make fun of.

I love the old Hitchcock movies like Vertigo, and Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. I’m partial to John Hughes flicks like Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles. Old French movies like Elevator to the Gallows and Les Yeux Sans Visage (eyes without a face) and newer ones like Amelie. Good old American stories like Forrest Gump and Hidden Figures. Ingmar Bergman movies like The Seventh Seal and Virgin Spring. And Wes Anderson stuff like Moonrise Kingdom and Royal Tennenbaums.

Hard to pinpoint just one and there are so many more i love too! I sometimes love watching film adaptations of books....all the Jane Austen and Bronte and Nick Hornby and To Kill a Mockingbird...

SensitiveHoboLady, I think we are soul mates!! LOL I am a Hitchcock aficionado. (I wrote a 40 page paper my senior year in college applying Freudian theory to the Hitchcock film Shadow of a Doubt.) Did you know that they used kesaba melons to make the stabbing sounds in the shower scene of Psycho? (Yes, I am a freak's freak.) Old movies I like, other than Hitchcock, are the Philadelphia Story, the original Cape Fear, Gaslight, the Night of the Hunter, Sabrina, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.(I could go on and on.) When I was first diagnosed in 2000 I watched the movie Donnie Darko over and over again. If you haven't seen it, watch it. It is a mind bender. Other movies : Godfather 2, Deer Hunter, Papillon, Taxi Driver, Serpico, the French Connection, the Conversation, Marathon Man, Boys from Brazil, the Day of the Jackal - and that is just some of the movies from the 70's that I adore. If this thread keeps going I will post more later. I think I have exhausted you guys for now. LOL
