Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Every time I have a mental health break and am in the process of striving for the most perfection I can reach and name that stability, it takes me time... sometimes months to get the job done, and it's an icky feeling the whole time I am restabilizing. I work hard to remind myself of that fact and tell myself that "this, too, shall pass."
My child, having grrs and being annoyed because of what you are going through is so perfect in my opinion because it's icky for me, too.
I am a teacher who can't work, a Mom and a stay at home person because I can't afford to go out to movies or restaurants all of the time. I check to see if I have messages from my friends and to see what they have been doing here every day that I have the tiime to do so, so if I miss you one day, please remember that this Mom is imperfect in your eyes, and will make mistakes. But I'll be the best Mom I can be for you because you need another one because your family doesn't understand what you are going through, and I do.
My name is Shirley, not bipolar, and the onset of my genetic bipolar disease was the result of personal tragedy and occurred in 1985. I am 59 years old. I am a kind and gentle soul, and if you accept my offer for friendship, I know I am going to learn to love you because of the way you see yourself and portray yourself in your profile.
My love,
Shirley
