Heads up on any SSRI's for downsizing sexual performance. It isn't just the infamous Paxil that will to it to you, but other anti-depressants as well. I didn't know this when I was taking Effexor.
Second heads up on antipsychotics. Risperdal numbed me out a bit too. A little bit of Viagra helped with that, but the stuff is expensive, embarrassing to buy, and causes headaches. Be sure to ask your Shrink about these things. =)

I am on xanax, lithium, and cymbalta and the one that does it to me is the cymbalta. ah this sucks when I am not on it I am just like a raging teenager.

Natalie-Go for the Viagra. Really. It may only need 3 refills (which is like 16 pills) and you store it up. I can't explain it, but it's like my body just needed some assistance to go there and I've been able to go there since. Of course I stopped takingthe Rffexor and Risperdal, but I am taking Lithium now and my body still remembers what the little blue pills taught it. Very powerful stuff, that. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm on lithium, lamictal and lustral and I have no sex drive whatsoever! It REALLY sucks and is starting to make me depressed....how ironic! Hey hangin0n, did you ask your GP for the viagra? I think I'll try that...anything at this stage! ;)

I take Pexeva, Tegretol, Lamictal, Klonopin and Abilify. I am lucky that my sex drive hasn't been affected. The Pexeva is a new form of Paxil and it hasn't made me manic either (keep your fingers crossed) :)

Wow, you are so lucky! I'll ask my doc about pexeva as a possible substitute for Lustral. Thanks Ladymidnite and fingers crossed for both of us :)

Hope I'm not too late to respond, Eddison.. I actually got the Rx from my pdoc. She asked me if I would like one when I told her I was thinking about talking to my GP about it. Killed two birds with one stone.

I'm on Cymbalta, Risperdal, Zyprexa, Topamax and Abilify and I'm as hot and as horny as ever!! None of those meds can kill my libido as long as there is a hot man I'm interested in!! Praise be the Lord!!

Im on 1mg risperdal and 500 epilim and i have a zero sex drive...... wonder if this is worse on males than females.
