I'm not on any of those but I am on alot of meds and wow has one or more really killed mine. It's really very depressing. Good luck to you.

I've had trouble with several of the medications I've been on over the years. Including the Abilify right now. But everyone's response to a medication is different and what doesn't work for one person can be better for another person. I hated the sexual effects of Prozac, but I have a friend on it and she doesn't have any negative sexual repercussions from it.

There are a few other meds that might help reverse the effects, but I'm not sure how well they work. Ask your doctor as this is a common problem and they may be able to switch you to something that doesn't take away from your sex life.

Also, Wellbutrin isn't an SSRI and often doesn't come with the sexual side effects. Your mileage may vary!

i take ZOLOFT..and it has really help mine..just like iam in my teens again..and iam 42 now..

It seems like every single med I'm on right now, each has killed a little of mine...I hardly have anything left. Okay, nothing left :(

Have ZERO sex drive....sux for me...lol.

On paxil, klonopin, lamictal and geodon.

Also added a bit of weight too...just wonderful

My sex drive is non existant, im on Lithium

I take Geodon and Effexor and my sex drive has not been affected. I guess it really is different for everybody.

Prozac made my sex life non exsistance. I got off of that medication since sex is one of the few pleasures in life I have anymore.

Im on 60mg of prozac and 2 mg of risperdal and I have ZERO sex drive

On lamictal & geodon - wonder if 1 or both effects the desire ? Afew yrs ago rape did away with that part of my life forever.
I cant stand to be touched nor even huged by my church member. freak out is understatement.

Just to add a another male experience, virtually all anti-depressents caused problems in the "sexual amenities department". Not just SSRIs. For me many sent my anxiety up and while everything seemed to function ok I discovered I could, in the words of the Rolling Stones "Get no satisfaction".

I can't remember which ones because on last count I've been on at least 10 different ones.

im on cymbalta 120mgs. and prozac 40mgs. and my sex drive hasnt changed. still want it :) but, havent gone thru a complete med adjustment yet either. so we'll see.

there is a new kind of ameliorated risperdal on the market called invega with less side effects.. I am on lthium , cant tell if it works. All the best.

depakote killed my sex drive for a few months but l've been on tegretol for just over a week now and though l'm really tired so far its hubba hubba baby lol...
