what sex drive

The meds that take away libido are a pain to deal with..taking away an important part of the human experience..ORGASIM!
If you can wean off sex killing meds ,and go on to something that won't kill your libido...I've found ,that within a few days,up to a few weeks,your normal libido will return.

Find some meds that won't take away your sex drive....humans are the only animals that experience sexual "orgasim"(ejaculation is different,obviously all reproducing male animals ejaculate)..so I consider that part of my life to to be imperitive to well being .

It was the fallout from the psychosis fr a while too. So , I can't really blame one thing in particular. It was knowing that my brain wasn't locking with the woman's as before.Doorway at the back of the head always open.

My sex drive wants to come back. It plays sheepishly in the background and peeps its head out every once in a while under the right circumstances, but can't just seem to pop out and say "I'M HERE"!!!!!!!!!! like I want it to do. I want to be the ravenous lioness!! But, dammit I find myself being the gazelle running from the lions attempts to have me LOL. SIGH.

mine left me so long ago i stopped looking for it. i find its better not to get dissapointed so often..

We had this discussion last week. I'm very interested in it. My libido is gone. Very hard for me. No interest mean trouble in relationships. I've heard busperion helps but it makes me really manic can't do it. Some people say women can use viagra. Don't know about that. Hormone's fuck with your other meds and set off manic or depressive episode. Very scary thought. So I don't know what to do. I'm seeing my doc soon so I'm going to ask, but it's GP not pdoc and they usually know bupkiss about bp.

SIGH. How do I approach this?? It's not that the nerves to my genitalia are dead or anything. I get a few sparks once in a while and I say from whence sparks come there can be a fire built. However, if there are no sparks, can sparks not be created? I mean it would take some effort and some want to but arousal can come with some foreplay as long as the mind is willing to try and the person to put forth the effort with a willing partner. That's just my summation though. Does anybody have anything they disagree with about that or anything to add to it perhaps?

Has anyone spoken with their doctors about this? I have been extremely hyper sexual for most of my life. It hasn't been until recently that my desire has weakened with a switch to cymbalta.

My doc is very concerned about any change like this and will switch me to something else if I feel that is what I want. Right now I don't want to switch meds because this is working well for me.

Geodon was a drug that did the best... related to Sex issues... Other drugs caused problems with my Sex Drive.

I tried geodon and had horriable reaction but lucky you !!!

Wellbutrin helped, but couldn't take if for long. Thought I read someone here saying that neurontin was a big sexual boost. Dunno.
But while you're all looking, if you see a libido with my name on it, tell it to get the hell home, plz? LOL

My doctor will not give me an anti-depressent claims I will get manic like I did at one point but I stay low all the time. Wonder if the daily cialis stuff would work or probley make things worse in the long run..

Maybe ask for a med review from a different doctor.,.if your pdoc doesn't mind? It is such an important quality of life concern- think you've every right to seek better outcome.
