Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
It's so nice to meet you. I've been a DS'er for about 3 or so years. Use to have an account with the nick orb3d, but I also owned an online business with that name and when people Googled me up they'd get my DS text. So, I changed to this account. I hope to get to know you better.

It's wonderful to see you back. I have a lot of the same illnesses you do or different forms of them.
BP II, BPD, and anxiety NOS - (GAD is one of those things they tell me I have some times and other days it's PTSD)
No kids but working on it. Husband and I are going through our first round of fertility treatment this month!! =) I'm on hormones and my mood has not gone totally haywire yet.
Hi my name is Jodi I am kind of new to this group, I was recently diagnosed as bipolar and bipolar depressive or something like that, either way I am bipolar. lol. Anyways I saw that you said your son was bipolar and I am interested about learning a little bit of info from you. At what age did you have him diagnosed? and what things were you looking for in him to know he was bipolar? I ask this because, Of my son he is still very young and so I dont want to get him on alot of medications and jump the gun, but I he has a lot of anxiety and I know a lot of it comes from me and he sees a counselor at school because he thinks I am dying right now, which I just tell him that I am not to ease his mind. but he is showing a lot of other things that I see in myself and I dont know if it is just a childhood behavioral thing that he will work out or if he is bipolar, anyways please send me a message. Very nice to meet you also!
