i was rediagnosed not bipolar. I stopped my Lamotrigone part my doctor. I am feeling up and down. This sucks. I read this is normal until my brain goes back to normal functioning.

If you're 14 like your Profile says, you were never able to be DX'd BiPolar in the first place...too young.

If you stopped the Lamictal cold turkey after being on it for a while, your body is going to go through Psychological withdrawals while your brain chemistry gets used to working without it. It can take a while depending on how long you were on the Lamictal and what dose.

There has been a case of someone with bipolar having an epileptic fit after stopping lamotrigine cold turkey.

I've no idea how long after going cold turkey they had the fit.

What is your diagnosis now?

Depression which I never had in my life, I think it’s from all these meds I don’t need. I’m down to 1 zyprexa I’m weaning off that one. I’m on a very lose dose of celexa.

I'm in the middle of med changes now and have been for a couple of months and I have found it a struggle as well after being on the same meds for years

You just feel different and I think it will take some adjustment … These meds effect our brain...… I'm not sure if I'm glad I started this or not
