My doctor has gave me enough samples and scripts to where if I wanted to go up to 200MG I could I am on 100 MG right now seems to be doing pretty good. When do you have to typicaly go up on lamictal ? Has anyone noticed any better antidepressent effects on 200MG compared to 100MG?
Just curious if I should go up or not?

In my experience 100mg is a low dose. I'm surprised the doc just gave you the scripts. Everyone is different. It's one of those drugs that sometimes needs to be raised every so often. I'm up to 200 now but am seeing pdoc tomorrow and asking if I should go up more. I've been on it since July 07.

I was always told that if you say you feel good,than the med is working...it is when you dont (for long periods of time)that it should be up'd.I am on 150mg. Everyone is different-- so "low" isnt low to everyone.I wouldnt go up until I felt like shit for a while.

Lamictal has been a God send for my depressions. I think I've taken every anti-depressant on the market with no relief. Lamictal finally helped. My Doc tells me that Lamictal in some people can cause a very bad rash and you must come off of it immediately if that happens. The dose must be increased very slowly. I am very surprised too that he just gave you prescriptions and told you to increase it if you wanted. If it's helping you, why increase it? But I would talk to your Doctor about it before doing anything.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
