I laid down to go to bed tonight in preps to get up for work
as usual. My mind would not quiet down and then in an instant
I had some severely dark thoughts. It was crazy - still is.
It's like my mind just turned on me- (if that doesn't sound schizoid and moody enough.) It took my breath away.
So I called in sick to work. I feel bad - but I am not sure if forcing myself to go right now is the best medicine.
I really want to offer a big hug of support to you guys, because I know that we may struggle to be healthy - and yet are nearly always dragged back into the abyss.
Thinking of you and thanks for reading!

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

People can redirect their brains, it just takes a bit of work/practice.
You might think of some good things that happened throughout your life, really good memories/moments and jot them down so that when the bad thoughts try to get hold, you can force your brain and thought process/sub-conscious to think of pleasant things until the bad thoughts stop.
Hope you feel better tomorrow.
