Any one have any ideas on some games that the kids can play tomorrow night during the New Years party to keep them occupied without much supervision. Like a scavenger hunt and stuff.

I was gonna say you could go drop them off somewhere and see who can find their way home lol Needless to say I have no children.

Seriously though I think a scavenger hunt sounds like a lot of fun! I can't even remember any other games we used to play when I was little. I guess board games and stuff but maybe it depends on their ages?

If they are old enough you could have them write out their favorite things of 2008 and resolutions or things they want to do in 2009?

welp', we adults play drunk musical chairs. how bout that? lol! some cough syrup should do the trick! haha!. but seriously, musical chairs, duck duck goose, red light green light, flashight tag is great if outdoors, kick the can, twister, hide and seek, uno, monopoly, jinga, simon says...u can see im a kid at heart.

I like the idea of dropping them off but we live near Detroit so we may never see them again. (?) Board games compared to video games what a drag, but we don't have a big enough game system for three kids to play at one time. I guess I will have to put some effort into the scavanger hunt idea

it depends on the age of the child. its a shame, most kids these days will never know the joy of just being a kid and running around using their imaginations...so much better than sitting in front of some video game. theyre so jaded and too darn smart for their age. simplicity is always best. if they only could see us back then! they'd prob look at us like monkeys just flew out of our ass...shame.
