Some bipolar people do ok on using marijuana...some bipolar people , it makes them paranoid.
Yep, I have to agree, this Scout Master needs to be educated...you could start by meeting with him, and giving him the true skinny on drugs and bipolar ?
The Dr's there are three Dr's that have prescribed tens of thousands of young men between the ages of 18 and 30.. The healthiest demgrapchic on the planet.
The feds are prosicuting those Dr's..
I wish they would just legalize it and sell it at liqour stores...
I am stupid for having done that small amount over that period of time...but that is only my personal judgement..based on how I feel after I did them, the peer pressure and the stage of illness I had reached. I wanted to fit in with people but the epiphany was just to be myself.
I drink rarely too now but wouldn't preach to others if they choose to.
Drugs and Booze will adversely affect the progress I have made.
But I say let everyone make their own informed decisions.
Man, I need a drink though.
Then end up like the pilot project of Amsterdam, in which the entire city is one big brothel of stoned people. (The words of two people who were just there last month- supposed to be zones, but apparently not so much)
The experiment in liberalization has already failed. Look at Amsterdam and weep! And hope it does not come to a city near you.

I used these to self medicate to try to escape from the pain and termile(sp?) in my mind 24/7. I stopped using and endured over 5 years of deep depression until I was diagnosed and medicated.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2009 in Washington State and thankfully medical marijauna is legal there. I used medical marijuana for a year while I enduring chemotherapthy and radiation therapy.
I am so thankful for the use of it for the pain and stress relief I recieved from it.

i like the option though and think it should be available. (but what the heck, making it available to kids, or advertising it to them? that is so weird.)
the statement that all mentally ill people need to smoke pot to have any kind of relief or normalcy is completely ridiculous.
everyone is different, to say one medicine is right for all is crazy.
and that seems like it would be obvious, sometimes people are just.... plain crazy.
